ASTRO A50, A40, and MixAmp Pro ASTRO Edition Headsets Are Out Now

October 10, 2014 by Stephen Daly

The headsets come in a range of colours.

The new ASTRO Edition A50, A40, and MixAmp Pro are available now in a range of new colors, and offer new tuning options, with the traditional level of audio quality you'd expect.

These headsets are compatible with PC, Mac, PS3, and PS4.

Aron Drayer, VP of Marketing, ASTRO Gaming, commented in a press release that “At ASTRO, we feel that the faithful reproduction of high-quality gaming audio if of the utmost importance to the gaming experience.”

He adds that the company has invested heavily to ensure that microphones offer great clarity and the headsets are comfortable to wear over a protracted gaming session. The headsets come in a range of designs and offer a customisable speaker tag system.

The A50 features Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound, KleerNet 5.8GHz Wireless Technology, and built-in ASTRO MixAmp 5.8, among other features.

The A40 and MixAmp Pro offer the Astro Audio Experience, a media controller cable, and a removable mic system.

You can find out more about ASTRO's new headsets on their website.
