Telltale Offers More Clues About Game of Thrones

October 9, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Winter is coming but until then, Telltale has some cryptic teasers.

Telltale Games has revealed some more cryptic hints about their forthcoming Game of Thrones title.

The image, which was posted on their Twitter account, includes the quote "… A wood of stubborn sentinel trees armoured in grey-green needles, of mighty oaks, of IRONWOODS as old the realm itself." This quote comes from A Game of Thrones, the first book in the A Song of Ice and Fire Saga.

The capitalisation of 'Ironwoods' and a previous clue from Telltale have strongly suggested that the game will involve House Forrester, a minor house in the novels, and take place in the Ironwoods.

It's also been suggested that Asha Greyjoy (known as Yara in the TV show) will be a prominent character.

Hopefully we'll have some concrete information soon but for the moment at least, Telltale seems content to keep teasing us about where their adventure in Westeros will take us.
