The Evil Within’s Newest Trailer is as Creepy as You’d Expect

October 6, 2014 by Stephen Daly

The trailer shows how you can use traps to your advantage in the game.

The Evil Within is set for release next week, and Bethesda has just released a new gameplay trailer, which looks at the "inhuman evil" enemies protagonist Sebastian Castellanos will face.

In the game the police detective will be able to use traps to his advantage and turn "a deterrent into a helpful weapon". The trailer tells us that "while the haunted are fearsome, and the surroundings are treacherous, there are some enemies so powerful not even death can stop them."

Bethesda detailed the game's season pass in August, and revealed it will cost $19.99 for three expansion packs. The packs will add new playable characters and a “sadistic collection of mission-based maps.”

The Evil Within is in development for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One and is launching in both North America and Europe on October 14th.
