Australian developer 5 Lives Studio has released a playthrough of alpha gameplay footage for Satellite Reign, which is exclusively available to those who backed their Kickstarter fundraising drive.
The developer says, "Chris Conte, Beard Cultivator (next step we reckon will be a Techno Viking plait), and Lead Designer at Five Lives Studios walk us through a mission in this pre-Alpha footage."
Satellite Reigns is a spiritual successor to Syndicate and Syndicate Wars – two real-time tactical strategy titles from the ‘90s. The walkthrough video is below and you can check out some alpha footage here.
5 Lives describes the game as real-time, class-based strategy title in which "You control a squad of four agents, each with distinct and unique abilities, as they vie for control of a fully simulated, living, cyberpunk city."
The game is in development for PC, Mac, and Linux.
