Bioware Asks Fans to Vote on FemShep in Mass Effect 3

Bioware, inclusive as ever, has given players the opportunity to choose what the next FemShep will look like in ME3.

Bioware is taking votes from the public to determine who the female version of Commander Shepard will look like in Mass Effect 3. The announcement comes as a happy surprise for the many fans who lobbied for the inclusion of a female Shepard on the game's box cover and elsewhere in the marketing materials.

Bioware says that regardless of the default female Shepard, the original, ginger-haired look will remain available to players in Mass Effect 3.

To whit, Bioware has uploaded six images of potential FemSheps to their Facebook page, with a blonde haired Shepard quickly taking the lead.

Mass Effect 3 is set for a 2012 release on the PC, 360 and PS3.
