Battlefield Hardline: 9 Maps And 7 Game Modes, But Rush Won’t Be Back

September 30, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Visceral has revealed all but one of the game modes, as well as a lot of the weapons.

Battlefield Hardline will have seven game modes and nine maps at launch.

No less than Visceral General Manager Steve Papoutsis confirmed these in an interview. Visceral has already confirmed all but one of these modes. These are all the modes we know for now:

·         Hotwire

·         Rescue

·         Blood Money

·         Heist

·         Conquest

·         Team Deathmatch

Of course, Visceral can add even more modes in the future. However, Papoutsis also confirmed that Rush mode will not be returning to Battlefield Hardline at all, so do not hold out hope for that.

Here is a partial list of weapons that have been seen in previews and gameplay demos:

·         M16A3

·         AKM

·         G36C

·         M4

·         FMG-9

·         Vector K10

·         UMP-45

·         AKS-47U

·         P90

·         UZI

·         MP5K

·         MAC-10

·         M240B

·         MG36

·         SR-25 ECC

·         L96A1

·         R700LTR

·         PTR-91

·         Shorty

·         Sawed-Off

·         870 MCS

·         SAIGA .308

·         G18

·         M93R

·         M1911

·         RS357

·         .38 SNUB

·         92FS

·         HK45C

·         TEC-9

Visceral may also be trying asymmetrical unlocks, with a different weapon unlock order for each album. It may also get class balancing similar to that found in Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

What would you like the fifth game mode to be? How do you feel about Rush mode not coming back? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.

Battlefield Hardline will be released March 31, 2015 on Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
