Roll7 Announces Sequel To Side Scrolling Skateboarding Game, Entitled OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood

September 25, 2014 by Holly Green

The quick follow up to the original is kick flipping its way onto PS4 and Vita sometime next year.

This morning Simon Bennet of Roll7 announced the PlayStation blog that OlliOlli is set to receive a sequel in the next year. The 2D, side scrolling skateboarding game, which challenges the player to perform and complete combos and earn achievements to progress through each level, will get a host of improvements, featuring a fresh polish to the graphics, a split screen four person competitive multiplayer mode, a combo Rush Mode, a variety of new obstacles and tricks, split level courses, and more. As evidenced by the trailer above, it will also once again have a great soundtrack.

You can see some pre-alpha images of the game below and attendees to EGX in London from September 25 to September 28, 2014 will get a chance with it hands-on at the PlayStation booth. OlliOlli 2: Welcome To Olliwood will come to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita sometime in 2015. The original is currently available on PlayStation Vita, PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
