Cut L.A. Noire Content Couldn’t Fit Single Blu-Ray

July 22, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

The content cut from L.A. Noire—two desks worth of content—could not have fit a single Blu-ray disc.

Team Bondi's Brendan McNamara says that the content they had to cut, and remove from L.A. Noire prior to the game's release couldn't fit into a single Blu-ray disc.

The content came in the form of two additional desks—bunko, and burglary—one of which was already written, designed and replete with artwork.

"We had eleven full cases for Burglary, which we wrote and did the design for to a certain extent—we even did the art for them too," said McNamara to print magazine PSM3.

"I think there might have been a better arc if we did do that—you get more of a chance to introduce different things—but in terms of the overall experience I think we did pretty well."
