It’s Star Wars vs I, Robot in this NBA 2K14 Mod

September 15, 2014 by Stephen Daly

It’s absurd, but in an utterly brilliant way.

What do you get when you cross Star Wars, I, Robot, and basketball? This NBA 2K14 mod of course.

This mod was created by MGX and adds a Star Wars themed team and court to the game. The team's players include Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Chewbacca, Darth Maul, and a number of stormtroppers who've all agreed not to use the force and cheat to win.

In the video below we see the Star Wars team playing against one from I, Robot. Will Smith doesn't make the cut, rather the team consists entirely of androids from the movie.

If you download the mod for the PC version of the game you'll also get access to seven additional themed teams: DC, Marvel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ninjas, Horror, Villains, and Mortal Kombat.

The mod should keep you entertained until the release of NBA 2K15 on October 7th.
