Amazon Prime might be more known for its delivery service in a variety of markets. Here consumers can get free shipping for purchases from the Amazon digital marketplace. However, alongside having the service consumers are given access to Amazon Video which is another streaming service for a variety of movies and television shows. You’ll find that there are even a few Amazon Originals that are their take on unique movies or series.
Among the list of shows available, one of the more popular has been The Boys. During a period of nonstop shows based around heroes, The Boys provides a different take on the genre with corrupt organizations with heroes doing their dirty work. It’s been a twisted show for viewers to watch through and so far there have been two seasons that viewers can sit in on. Of course, we won’t spoil anything here in case you haven’t watched this mature take on a hero series.
We bring this all up because it looks like there might be a video game adaptation in the works. This comes from a tweet from the official Twitter account for The Boys. The tweet simply asks followers what a video game based on The Boys would look like in their opinions. With that said, there hasn’t been an announcement on if a video game is being developed based around the hit streaming series.
Still, it’s been noted in the past that Amazon is still committed to the video game industry. We know the next big upcoming installment is called New World, an MMORPG. Currently, that game is slated to release on August 31, 2021, but we don’t know what’s planned after that title launches. Perhaps their next big release is centered around The Boys, but again, we’re also left wondering just where in the show this game would take place if it’s not a direct adaptation from the season released content.
