Shulk, the hero of Wii's Xenoblade Chronicles, is officially joining the fight in the latest Smash Bros. Of course, we already knew that from the leak earlier this week. I guess director Masahiro Sakurai and the rest of the Smash team realized there was no sense hiding the truth any longer and put together this video pretty quickly. They even poke fun at the unplanned reveal with the video's subtitle: "Looks like we don't have a choice!"
With Shulk prepped for battle, there are still a number of new fighters left in need of proper introductions, such as Bowser Jr., Dark Pit, and the Duck Hunt dog. Will they be revealed back-to-back since they aren't much of a secret anymore? We'll find out soon, I guess.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS arrives October 3. The Wii U version arrives in winter.
