Just as we reported the other day, the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of Destiny are set to receive content that is exclusive to the platforms for a year before it’ll be made available on either the Xbox 360 or Xbox One.
In order to confirm that detail, Bungie has released a new Destiny trailer offering another glimpse at the exclusive bonus content for the PlayStation versions of the game.
Players will receive a new co-op Strike mission that’s set on Mars, an additional competitive multiplayer map, and a unique selection of weapons, armor, and ships.
Each character class will get its own exclusive gear, including the Manifold Gear Set for Warlocks, Vanir Gear Set for Titans, and Argus Gear Set for Hunters.
In addition to these armor sets, players will be able to wield an exotic assault rifle called the Monte Carlo, and the Hawkmoon hand cannon. There will also be three exclusive ships for the PlayStation versions of the game.
Bungie released the launch trailer for Destiny just a week ago. It’s set to arrive on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on September 9, 2014.
