There’s an announcement trailer for Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom, third title in the Adventure Time series of games and, like its predecessors, based on the cartoon series by Pendleton Ward.
The first Adventure Time game wasn’t very good, but that hopefully shouldn’t reflect too badly on the new game, which is due out this fall. The game’s development is being headed up by Little Orbit and sees Jake and Finn traversing the Nameless Kingdom to rescue all of the lost princesses, in a top-down old-school Legend of Zelda kind of way.
"In Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom, players take on the personas of both Finn and Jake as they navigate through the eponymous kingdom — a mysterious unexplored region in the Land of Ooo," the game's description reads. "They will discover hidden secrets by exploring all corners of a new kingdom created exclusively for the game and encounter never-seen-before characters and creatures."
The game, which was previously announced for the PC, will also be making its way to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo 3DS.
The trailer for Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom can be seen below. It’s out on November 21.
