WWE 2K15: CAW, Goldust And Randy Orton Intros, And More

August 23, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

2K Sports promises better rendered beards, thanks to new technology.

WWE 2K15 might have a huge feature for CAW exclusive to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

2K Sports has also revealed some new tech just to render beards. They explained that scanning doesn’t do justice to the beards the wrestlers have, so they developed this technology just so that it can render different beards correctly. So, case in point, Daniel Bryan’s beard is open and scraggly, while Mark Henry’s is thick and solid. The new technology does not just make the beards look good, it allows 2K to animate the beards as well.

2K Sports teased a specific addition to Create-A-Wrestler for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. They did not elaborate on what this could be, but the rumor is that players with those consoles will get to scan their own faces using the camera for their CAWs. This rumor has yet to be corroborated by 2K, so take it with a grain of salt.

2K was also asked about crowd fighting, and they remain cagey on confirming or even denying it. They only promised that they would reveal the truth regarding this very soon.

Finally, 2K revealed that they are making improvements to the different match types available. These refer to types of matches such as the Royal Rumble, The Hell in a Cell, TLC, and so forth. Again, 2K did not elaborate on these improvements for now.

Finally, you can check out two newly unveiled wrestler intros, for Goldust and RKO Randy Orton, below. WWE 2K15 will be released in October 28 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
