The Crew Is Racing on a Nationwide Scale

August 21, 2014 by Tony Ponce

New video describes the many features of Ubisoft’s open-world racer.

Ubisoft has just uploaded a comprehensive overview of its upcoming racer The Crew. As we've shown you before, The Crew takes place in a massive environment that spans the entire United States. The world is so massive, in fact, that it will take you around 90 minutes just to travel from one coast to the other!

The video above touches upon many of the features you can expect in this 1900-square-mile playground. There are five distinct regions to visit — West Coast, Mountain States, Midwest, The South, and East Coast — and careful exploration will uncover everything from special challenges to wrecked vehicles that can be scrapped for parts or touched up to give yourself a new ride. And if you don't want to travel lengthy distances, you can select a fast travel option to drop you into an area instantly.

The Crew will land on Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on November 11.
