The developers at CD Projekt RED have published a new video of their upcoming mature-themed role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which runs up to 35 minutes in length.
With the end of gamescom 2014, the studio has decided to put out over half an hour of the game’s footage, which was previously showcased to journalists at the event.
The video is a direct follow-up to the previous video, released at E3 2014, in which Geralt of Rivia, the game’s protagonist, takes on a mighty griffin.
In our previous reports about the game, we noted that The Witcher 3 is set to feature over 150 hours of voice acting work, and even comes with a bodily dismemberment within its combat system. Some of that information comes directly from its voice actor, Doug Cockle, who had much to say about the game during the San Diego Comic-Con.
With regards to its dismemberment system, which can be seen in the video below during combat sequences, factors such as your weapon, skill level, and so forth determine whether you’ll hack off a limb, or even decapitate a monster.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is slated for a February 24 release in 2015 for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
