Disney Infinity 2.0’s Toy Box Features Merida and Stitch

August 18, 2014 by Stephen Daly

You can get the game without those pesky Marvel superheroes after all.

Disney Interactive has revealed a combo box based on Disney Infinity 2.0's Toy Box mode starring Brave's Merida and Lilo & Stitch's Stitch.

The Toy Box Combo Pack will be a new way to get access to the game if you'd rather not go down the Marvel heroes' route. As part of the pack you'll get a copy of the game, the Disney Infinity 2.0 base, a poster, Merida and Stitch figures, and two Toy Box game discs: "Stitch's Tropical Rescue" and "Brave Forest Siege."

In a press release, Avalanche Studios' John Blackburn said, "Disney Infinity fans spend the majority of their time inside the Toy Box mode, and with our new Toy Box Starter Pack, we're giving Disney fans an alternative entry point to the Disney Infinity sequel. We've completely re-tooled the Toy Box for this year's version of Disney Infinity, and we want every Disney fan to experience it using their favorite Disney or Marvel characters."

Merida and Stitch were confirmed for the game back in May, and you can watch a video of the former taking on Maleficient here.

The starter pack will launch November 4th in North America and November 7th in Europe. Disney Infinity 2.0 will be available from September 23rd for PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
