Assassin’s Creed Unity: Even More Gameplay Details

August 18, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

We also have more details for Assassin’s Creed Rogue.

We have some new details for you for Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Rogue.

Assassin’s Creed Unity:

  • Some heists will see you going into the underground passages below Notre Dame. Templars have stolen artifacts and hidden them in these passages, and you will be tasked with stealing them back.
  • The guards will no longer move in predictable patterns.  You can go back to a certain location for a side mission, and find the guards in different spots.
  • Although the game has side missions, it will not have bonus objectives to earn extra rewards with. Instead, you will need to contend with an analog meter. The meter goes down every time you are engaged in a stealth mission and get spotted.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue:

  • The Templar believes the end justifies the means, and you will get to operate under their rules.
  • Therefore, you can use grenades, and even berserk grenades, on citizens and animals alike.
  • Sea shanties, one of the most popular things in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, are making a return for Assassin’s Creed Rogue.
  • The Assassins will be the toughest enemies you will face in Rogue. They will use smoke, pistols, shoot powder kegs, etc. If they hide and then hit you, they can do even more damage.

Assassin's Creed Unity is set for release on October 28 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Assassin’s Creed Rogue is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 11.
