Netflix Streams on to the 3DS

In Nintendo’s regular press release they revealed that not only are there going to be the normal game updates and store releases, but one of the biggest names in the industry will be finding its way to the 3DS.

However, what comes next may come as a shock to some people; The Netflix streaming app will be free of charge. With the company’s new pricing model, it’s truly amazing that there wasn’t some extra fee imposed upon the consumer. Good job, Netflix.

This free downloadable application(available with today’s e-Shop update) will allow Netflix members with an unlimited streaming plan, a Nintendo 3DS system and a broadband Internet connection will be reqiured to instantly watch TV shows and movies on their Nintendo 3DS.
