The first gameplay trailer for NBA 2K15 has been released and raises some questions about the game.
In last year's instalment, there was pretty much nothing you could do once the dunk animation started and based on this snippet it looks like that may not have changed. Durant seems unstoppable once he starts the dunk and the defence doesn't rotate or try to block him but it's possible that 2K were just trying to show off a dunk, rather than how they'll all function in the game.
We've also learned more about My League Mode, which is similar to Association Mode with a number of enhancements. My League Mode lets you play one NBA season or as many as 80 and you can choose to control one team or all 30 of them. Trade negotiation and contract negotiations and more have also been added. Best of all, you won't have to use VC to make changes in My League Mode. While you can earn VC points, you don't have to use them to make minor tweaks to the mode.
We've also learned that if a player injures his knee, for instance, that part of his body will be more likely to be injured a second time.
NBA 2K15 is headed to PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 7th.
