Remember that Godzilla videogame we told you about back in June? The one that ties in with the recent film from Legendary Pictures? As of this moment, it's exclusive to PS3 and only announced for release in Japan. However, considering that Godzilla games over the past decade have found their way to our shores, there's no reason to believe this one won't be localized. And if it doesn't, the PS3 is region-free — I doubt a Godzilla game would demand you to read copious amounts of text!
So in the event that the King of the Monsters marches on over here, I thought you'd like to get psyched up with a bunch of newly posted screens from the game. Not only will classic Godzilla be featured, his new film counterpart will join the fight as well. Furthermore, check out Mechagodzilla in action! Specifically, this is the "Kiryu" model of Mechagodzilla featured in the films Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo SOS.
Bandai Namco's Godzilla is scheduled for a Japanese release on PS3 this winter. Stay tuned in case more regions get confirmed.
