Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire: Primal Reversion for Rayquaza?

August 7, 2014 by Tony Ponce

YouTube video speculates the possibility of various Pokemon getting Primal forms.

The mystery train for Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire keeps chugging along, the biggest discussion point of all being Primal Reversion. Aside from the Ruby & Sapphire headliners Kyogre and Groudon, what other Pokemon could possibly receive Primal forms?

YouTuber pdwinnall, whose videos we've shared in the past, takes a stab at a few theories of his own. More than anything else, he sees no reason why the poster child for Pokemon Emerald, Rayquaza, shouldn't also get a Primal form to round out the Legendary trio from Generation III. Digging further, he noticed that Aerodactyl's Mega form from X & Y is supposedly that of its original, ancient appearance. Could this indicate that it too will have a Primal fom? Will all Fossil Pokemon undergo Primal Reversion? He also hopes that the golems Regice, Registeel, and Regirock have Primal forms as well.

Watch the video above and share your own thoughts. Then sit tight for the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire on 3DS this November 21.
