Enjoy The King of Fighters XIII in Arcades? Well, Consoles Get Exclusive Content

July 12, 2011 by Josh Wanamaker

Atlus releases a whole mess of trailers and screenshots of their upcoming SNK Playmore fighter, along with news that the console version of the game would be getting exclusive content.

Today Atlus announced that the North American console release of KoFXIII is going to be getting stages, game modes, and even characters that never appeared in the Arcade edition. So those of you who managed to acquire the Windows-adapted arcade leak should probably look into picking up the console version to experience everything the game has to offer.

Atlus has revealed in the past that they have listened to the fans in-order to make the necessary changes to the series like: fights play faster; the addition of over a half dozen play modes offers variety and replayability; the game's beautifully rendered and animated character sprites are better distinguished from the backgrounds-which happen to be richer and more detailed; the camera perspective is less restricted; fighters have more moves, including new supers and the all-new NEOMAX supers; and much, much more!
