The Sims 4: Premium Membership And Fifteen Minutes Of Gameplay

July 20, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

As expected from EA, paying for premium membership may be overreaching in the rewards department.

We have new for you regarding The Sims 4, including Premium membership and a fifteen minute gameplay video.

First off, regarding that Sims 4 Premium Membership, which was revealed in a recent trailer. Of course, this membership comes with savings, as well as both exclusive and early access items. Apparently, the first few exclusive packs right out the gate include spooky costume parties, New Year’s Eve parties, and outdoor camping.

This premium membership would effectively act exactly the same as a Battlefield Premium Membership. Aside from early access, exclusive content, and overall savings on the deal, they get priority position in server queues. We do not need to tell you, this puts non premium members at a serious disadvantage. We do not know that this is entirely OK.

And now, as promised, we have fifteen minutes of gameplay, from this twenty minute The Sims 4 video. This video is essentially the entirety of the E3 demo, so this includes everything that was covered then and possibly stuff that was missed by reporters at that time.

Of course, that also means that part or all of the things shown and featured here could have changed, so you will want to take particular details with a grain of salt. Still, it is great to just see the game in action.

Over at the thread for it, some fans seem to be debating the removal of CAST, or Create-A-Style, from The Sims 3. Some fans are not happy that it’s been removed and others are. We are sure your position on this varies as well.

The Sims 4 is coming to Windows on September 2, and also on Mac in an unrevealed date.
