Okami on PlayStation 2 was one of Capcom's vastly underappreciated gems, unable to pull down the sales figures that a game of its critical standing deserved. Since then, Okami has been given several more shots at glory — a Wii port in 2008, an HD remaster in 2012, and a DS sequel in 2011. One of the reasons people love the game so much is its beautiful watercolor art; now you can adorn your home with high-quality Okami art prints thanks to art dealership Cook & Becker.
Cook & Becker partnered with Capcom to produce a limited run of seven different prints, listed below:
- Agata Forest
- Amaterasu
- Okami
- Path of Heaven
- Seeking the Celestial Brush Gods
- Sunset at Kamiki Village
- Susano and Amaterasu fight Orochi
Ranging in price between $80 and $130, these are serious pieces for serious collectors. Each run has been limited to 50, and "Path of Heaven" has already sold out as of this writing. If you want to get your hands on one of these lovely pieces, act fast.
Cook & Becker also sells art from other games, like Street Fighter and Mass Effect. Check those out here if you are interested.
