Metro Redux Arriving in Late August

June 24, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Re-enter the metro at the end of summer.

Metro Redux, a compliation of Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light for PC, PS4, and Xbox One is coming out on August 26th in North America and August 29th in Europe, 4A Games and Deep Silver have announced.

The two games will be available as separate digital purchases for $24.99 each or collectively at retail for $49.99. Players will be able to choose between the survival horror style of Metro 2033 or the more action orientated approach of Metro Last Light in either game and both titles will feature Ranger Mode which drops the games HUD and makes both ammo and resources harder to come by.

All previously released downloaded content will be included.

You can find out more details about the collection, including the teaser trailer, here. The games are based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novels and are set in the Moscow Metro 30 years after a devastating nuclear war.

Metro 2033 has never been released on a PlayStation platform until now.
