The PlayStation website has been updated with details of Batman Arkham Knight's PS4 exclusive Scarecrow's Nightmare DLC.
According to Sony, the DLC sees Gotham plunged into chaos after exposure to Scarecrow's fear toxin which turns the city into a "twisted, hellish nightmare."
On the website, Sony says players will:
"Tear through the city in the all-new batmobile and face off against a towering vision of Scarecrow and his undead army as they spread terror on the streets, available exclusively on PlayStation 4."
In other Arkham Knight news, the Microsoft Store may have revealed the game's release date to be February 24th, 2015. The game's Xbox One page still lists that date at the time of writing which, if accurate, would mean Rocksteady's game is set for release a month later than Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy recently suggested.
Conroy remarked, "I know everyone's frustrated [about the delay]. The reason it's been delayed is because it's so awesome," adding that Arkham Knight is "going to come out next January." February 24th is a Tuesday, the usual launch date for games in the U.S. so it certainly seems possible.
It's also recently been suggested that Batman's allies such as Robin and Nightwing could make an appearance in the game which will boast an impressive Rogues' Gallery which will feature a host of villains such as Harley Quinn, Penguin, Riddler, and of course, the Arkham Knight.
Batman: Arkham Knight is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game was originally due for release in October before being delayed to early 2015.
