There's no set date for this to happen, yet, but soon you'll be able to purchase everything you want for under the Xbox or GFW marketplaces in one place, which I guess streamlines the process a bit. Really though, do *you* know anyone that actually uses either of these services? I don't. Everyone that I know that games on the PC buys their stuff through Steam or Direct2Drive, and they all curse Microsoft for their flippant Games For Windows Live nonsense. We all do. All of us.
