We have a new video straight out of E3 leaking a preview of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
OK, so a lot of the info revealed here, we have already covered before, but there are still a few tidbits that are worth noting.
For one, all the maps from all the games are immediately accessible from the start, and easily too. You select game type, wait for it to search for people, and then the players vote for which map they’re going in for.
The anthology was designed so that there was something for everyone. Older fans will enjoy having all the games and being able to switch into older graphics mode, while newer fans will enjoy the uprezzed graphics. There’s also entertainment in the form of the Ridley Scott show.
We mentioned it before, but audio has been fully remastered. It’s all new, and bumped from 2.1 to 7.1 audio.
As of this time, 343 hasn’t fully fleshed out how competitive rankings will work, but they are working on it.
There will be new Achievements on these games. Again, the details won’t be around until later.
To end, we want you to check out our source video, which clearly was hand recorded over at E3. It doesn’t seem like Microsoft is taking this video down, so enjoy a sneak peek at 14 minutes of preview footage of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The game is coming out November 11 on Xbox One.
