2K Games has revealed the 1st two Divas who will be in the playable roster for WWE 2K15.
AJ Lee, was recently dethroned as Divas champion, but was the longest running holder of the title at 295 days, or nearly five months. Within this time, she was a major player in both the main title event and the Divas division. She initially won the title from Kaitlyn and defended it against all comers, including in Wrestlemania XXX’s 14 Diva Vickie Guerrero Invitational. She was recently granted time off from wrestling, but is sure to be well-remembered by fans for her actions in the past few months.
Naomi Knight is known as one half of tag team the Funkadactyls, and also for her starring role in E! reality show Total Divas. While the Funkadactyls have had a good run in the WWE thus far, it’s the combination of that and her real life trials and tribulations, as featured in Total Divas, that raised her profile. The show most famously documented her relationship with real life fiancé Jimmy Uso, who she would later marry in the show.
As you can see, these aren’t bad choices at all, but there are even more Divas with a good claim to join that roster, which we hope to be filled out with even more women wrestlers than WWE 2K14 was. They definitely must enter the fresh, but current Divas Champion Paige. We’ll keep you up to date when more information on WWE 2K15 is released. WWE 2K15 is coming October 28 to PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One.
