343 Industries’ Bonnie Ross has informed Joystiq that the Halo 5: Guardians beta that comes bundled with Halo: The Master Chief Collection, will run from December 27 to January 17. That’s three weeks of playtime.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will come out a month and a couple of weeks before its Halo 5 beta is set to launch, on November 11, giving gamers a lot of time to pick up a copy before the beta begins.
The Collection is set to include games with the Master Chief as their protagonist, from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 4. It does not include ODST or Reach. Details about the game’s multiplayer maps can be found here.
