Bossa Studios' Surgeon Simulator is making its way to PlayStation 4, the developer announced on the PlayStation Blog.
Bossa's Community Manager Poppy Byron remarked:
"We genuinely believe that this version of the game is even funnier that earlier versions of Surgeon Simulator. Something about seeing vital organs flying around a bigger screen while you relax on the sofa really strikes us as hilarious – having your whole body involved with it really adds to the physical comedy of the game."
Byron said the biggest challenge to making the game for PS4 was mapping the control scheme to a DualShock 4 but the team is confident they've pulled it off.
While it might seem like an obvious choice for PlayStation Move support, that doesn't appear to be coming at this time and there are no current plans for Project Morpheus adaptation either.
It's unclear when the game is coming to PS4 but we'll let you know once that information is revealed.
