Microsoft has revealed Crackdown 3 for Xbox One.
The trailer shows a colorful city in cover of night, overrun by crime and corruption. More importantly, there are explosions, and if there's one thing that Crackdown has always been, it's the explosions. This time around we're due for some of the biggest we've seen yet.
The trailer shows the agency going after kingpin Vincente Villareal, with a stern warning over a futuristic PA, right before he's taken down by three agents working together. One agent acts as rifleman, another has laid explosives across the city, while the third man is bringing the explosives rigged truck, to wreak the destruction you see above. The explosions begin when the rifleman makes the truck go explodey.
After showing the trailer, Phil Spencer came up to state that they assembled the right developers to make the next Crackdown game, headed by no less than series creator Dave Jones.
