Yanick Roy the studio director for Bioware Montreal, the team behind Mass Effect 4, is heading to E3 2014 for the first time in eight years. Fans are hoping that the unannounced game from EA is not a prequel and have been speculating that the upcoming game is titled "Mass Effect: Contact" which has been debunked by Yanick Roy when he tweeted "WRT name speculations: the next Mass Effect doesn't have a name yet, just a working title that we have used since day 1 of the project."
I think it'll be a small teaser but here's hoping and praying that it will address the timeline issue, there has been a rumor which originated from a Potuguese site that the game is called "Mass Effect: Origin" and, despite the name, is not a prequel to story of Shepherd, but will start a new trilogy in the same universe. Yanick later tweeted that if he wanted to come up with a made up name for the next Mass Effect, he sure wouldn't pick Origins.
Rumors and speculation are running wild with E3 kicking off tomorrow, expect a ton of announcements to be made at EA's E3 2014 Press Conference at 12:00 PM PDT/3:00 PM EDT.
