The developers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt don’t have to come out and explicitly confirm which characters are going to appear in the upcoming game.
Instead, they’ve left it to fans to figure out who will be returning to the third installment of the long-running series of RPGs that were based on books by Polish author Andrej Sapkowski, many of whose characters have appeared in the game series.
Among the characters that are slated to return in the third game are all of the ones that keen-eyed fans managed to spot in the game’s newly released story trailer, which featured the likes of Geralt, Triss, Yennefer, and their cohorts.
They are Lambert, Eskel, Vesemir, Triss, Yennefer, Emperor Emhyr, and Ciri. Letho and Vran will also possibly be making an appearance. Here are screenshots of the trailer, captured by redditor nukacola100.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is slated to make a huge appearance at E3 2014 next week. Originally planned for a late 2014 release, the game has since been delayed to February 24, 2015.
