Destiny Info Emerges from New Previews

June 5, 2014 by Stephen Daly

New content is planned for the game every single day.

MoreConsole has a new video on YouTube relating to the new information about Destiny contained in various magazine previews.

There are hidden ramps dotted throughout the game where players will need to launch their sparrows in order to access secret areas and items.

If you're playing on PS4, the DualShock 4's lightbar will change colour depending on what's happening in-game. When you have low health, for instance, it will pulse red. When you're fully charged it will be yellow and the lightbar will turn green when you enter a hive area. Bungie says these effects will be subtle.

When you team-up before a mission, everyone's ship will form up in formation meaning you may want to pimp your ride to stand out from the crowd.

As we previously reported, Destiny will "pleasantly surprise" PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players and the game may have destructable environments.

New content will be added to the game everyday which are designed to draw players back time and again. These missions unlock different rewards everytime.

The large open levels of Destiny are filled with bubbles and players begin games in public bubbles, meaning they'll see other gamers around them while there are also private bubbles. These bubbles focus on you and your fireteam but once you step outside it won't be long before you run into other players doing different missions.

Armour in the game ranges from holoraphic plating to almost-viking style protection and you'll be able to dynamically change your weapons loadout during sessions but will suffer penalties, less ammo for example, as a result.

Destiny is set for release on September 9th for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The title's beta will launch next month on PlayStation platforms first.
