Fallout 4 E3 Update Given By Pete Hines Regarding Unannounced Title

June 4, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Hines keeps getting asked again and again, and to his credit he tells people as it is.

Sorry, Fallout fans, but you won’t find what you’re looking for this E3.

Pete Hines has responded once again to fans pleading for Fallout 4, this time asking if Bethesda has plans to reveal it in this year’s event. Hines was specifically asked about the company’s 2:30 PM slot for E3 this Monday.

Hines has laid down the law on this one, specifically naming Battlecry as the subject for said event, and linking to said announcement.  As you can imagine, this did not go down well with fans, some of whom replied angrily against Battlecry, but mostly with despair over not getting Fallout 4 again.

@Mighty_Marsland @Bethblog @RedRebekah That is for Battlecry, which was unannounced at the time we booked it. See: http://t.co/rrYq3eXcZH

I think it’s simply going to get worse before it gets better for Fallout fans, as Bethesda has clearly chosen to shut out any details from being revealed to the outside world. While they feel the game is not ready to be shown to the world, they will reveal nothing, and perhaps it’s for the better. If the build is still not where people would want it to be graphically, even if other aspects of the game are looking good, Bethesda would be smart to keep away. In any case, Hines explained this already.

We will make sure to keep you up to date when actual news about Fallout 4 is finally revealed. Image is from Fallout 3.
