Capcom Announces New Online PC Game, Ixion Saga

The publisher behind Street Fighter and Resident Evil has announced a new multiplayer game called Ixion Saga, which is set as a PC-exclusive release.

Ixion Saga will put eight players in a versus mode where they will use swords, guns and an assortment of magics against each other—with three character classes to choose from, respectively. Players can form "unions" (or clans) with other players and equip their characters with a variety of weapons and attack skills.

According to the reveal on the Japanese Famitsu magazine, players will also be able to cooperate with each other to take on bosses.

Ixion Saga will be released in Summer 2012 and more information will become available in the months preceding its release.
