LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Announced for PS4, Xbox One

LEGO is going next-gen with LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has just been announced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. In development at TT Games, the game is set for release this fall for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, as well as for the PC.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is the next installment to the blockbuster series of LEGO Batman games, which have sold tons of copies worldwide, according to the press release.

“Building on the incredibly successful LEGO Batman franchise, we are working to make LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham the ultimate super hero videogame this year for all ages,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “The TT Games team is bringing LEGO Batman and an astounding amount of characters from the DC Comics universe to the next frontier with a new epic story, more gadgets and unexpected challenges.”

In LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Batman joins forces with the super heroes of the DC Comics Universe to blast off into outer space to face off against Brainiac before he destroys planet Earth. sing the power of the Lantern Rings, Brainiac shrinks worlds to add to his twisted collection of miniature cities from across the universe. Now the greatest super heroes and the most cunning villains must unite and journey to different Lantern Worlds to collect the Lantern Rings and stop Brainiac before it’s too late.

Like many of the other games in the LEGO franchise, players can unlock up to 150 unique characters including members of the Justice League to big figures like Solomon Grundy and Killer Croc.

The game will also allow players to explore iconic places in the DC Universe, including the Hall of Justice, the Batcave, and the Justice League Watchtower. They will be able to access Batman’s training modules on the Bat Computer and take part in various challenges, battles and races.
