Bioware has revealed a new setting for Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. You won’t always be roughing it, as there will at least be one mission set in opulent Halamshiral.
To be specific, you will be going to Halamshiral’s Winter Palace, were some faction leaders are having peace talks. For the residents of Halamshiral, however, the ongoing chaos outside their city’s walls are no reason to panic. You are going to a costume party in the Winter Palace, and you and your party will definitely be dressing up a – and dancing – for the occasion.
Still, you’re there to circumvent an assassination attempt, so don’t expect this to be the cakewalk that it appears to be. In fact, playing politics may prove to be a harder task than striking haters out in the open. You’ll need to be keeping up appearances; however, so make sure your dancing shoes are ready.
Bioware has cited the opportunity in this mission to create a resplendent spectacle. They’ve picked apart influences from France, the Middle East, and Buckingham Palace, to make a fairly detailed palace, including the ceilings. They’ve apparently taken pains in depicting the ballroom, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for it.
Dragon Age 3: Inquisition is coming October 7 to Windows, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One.
