Driveclub New Screenshots Are From A Pre-Beta Build

May 22, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Most screenshots use placeholder artwork according to the development team.

The latest screenshots for Evolution Studio's Driveclub are pre-alpha and use placeholder artwork according to the development team on NeoGAF.

"Hi guys, thanks for the nice comments.

Just wanted to let you know though, that the UI shots have all been taken from a pre-Beta build of the game and most of them use placeholder artwork."

This should mean the finished product will look even better when the game is exclusively released on PlayStation 4 later this year.

You can check out the screens in the gallery below.

Meanwhile, Sony has posted a video interview with the Evolution devs on the PlayStation Blog. It was also revealed on the Blog that there are 50 car models in Driveclub and Sony reiterated that the racer will run at 1080p.

Driveclub is set for release on October 8th and will be available in both standard and slimmed down PlayStation Plus versions with Plus owners having the option to upgrade to the full game for a reduced price.
