Once again, we have new information on possible new villains for upcoming action game Batman: Arkham Knight.
This information once again comes from IMDB, so we would caution you to take it with a grain of salt, but it’s still worth your consideration.
It appears that the IMDB page for the game has been discreetly updated with the voice actors playing four previously rumored villains. This doesn’t 100 % confirm them (and we’ll get into that again below) but we’re sharing the information first for your consideration.
- Killer Moth will be voiced by Keith Silverstein.
- Bane will be voiced by JB Blanc.
- Zsasz will be voiced by Danny Jacobs.
- Lastly, Deadshot will be voiced by Chris Cox.
We won’t go through profiles of each of these characters again, but what we will tell you is that everyone save Killer Moth is getting the same voice actors that they had in previous games. Actually, it was presumed that Killer Moth was already dead in Arkham lore, so unless they go Charaxes with him, or maybe put a second person in the role, it’s not clear how they’ll pull this off.
Unfortunately, here’s were we point out why you need to take this information with a grain of salt. Supernatural star Jensen Ackles, who we know to have played Jason Todd in Batman: Under the Red Hood, is no longer in the page. Either this is a huge spoiler that Rocksteady had to put under wraps, or, more likely, that rumor had no basis in the 1st place.
And so it may be the case with all these rumors, but until Rocksteady confirms these things, we can only but speculate.
Batman: Arkham Knight is coming October 14, to Windows, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. Image is of Bane from Arkham Origins.
