Assassin’s Creed: Unity Has 10 Studios Working on Its Development

May 15, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Assassin’s Creed: Unity has many hands working on it.

As a part of its FY14 Earnings Presentation, Ubisoft has revealed details about its upcoming stealth-action game Assassin’s Creed: Unity. The report follows the reveal of Far Cry 4, which we detailed here with high resolution cover art.

The publisher revealed that Assassin’s Creed: Unity has been dated for a Fall 2014 release and is described as a “great new setting” with “innovations”. It’s set in France during the French Revolution.

The game is designated for a PC and next-gen console (PS4 and Xbox One) release, with development being headed up by Ubisoft Montreal, with support from Toronto, Singapore, Quebec, Annecy, Shanghai, Chengdu, Kiev, Montpellier, and Bucharest. Many hands are involved in the making of the game, evidently.

We expect further details about the game to be disclosed shortly.
