The next Legend of Zelda Title, Skyward Sword, will contain "new musical gameplay elements" according to Nintendo composer Koji Kondo.

Although Kondo isn't in charge of the latest title, he remains very much in the loop at Nintendo, and revealed some interesting details about the upcoming game.

"Our next title, Skyward Sword, also has a wide variety of impressive songs, and it has new musical gameplay elements," Kondo said in an interview with Original Sound Vision.

"Hajime Wakai is in charge of the music, but I also participated in making songs. My composition tools are an electronic piano and a Mac. We use orchestras for a few different songs where we feel that doing so is appropriate."

Skyward Sword will be released for the Nintendo Wii platform later this year.
