The Official Trailer for the Official Documentary of the Official Indie Dev Scene

June 22, 2011 by Josh Wanamaker

This masterful trailer for “Indie Game: The Movie”, gives us a great look at the quality of the documentary covering the indie development scene.

The film will do doubt give us an artful, behind-the-scenes look at the development process of hit titles Super Meat Boy and Braid, and the yet to be released but altogether excellent-looking Fez.

It's also been revealed that Jim Guthrie, who did the excellent soundtrack to Sword & Sworcery, will be scoring the soudtrack to the film. That's kind of a big deal, considering the talent.

Two other remarkable documentaries, Objectify and Helvetica, have similar standards of production quality, judging from the trailer. The movie is being made by Blink Works, and if you feel sufficiently moved by the trailer you can even contribute to the film's Kickstarter campaign, too.
