Sunset Overdrive Promotional Site Launches, Features OverCharge Drink

Insomniac Games has launched a new website for its upcoming parkour-based shooter Sunset Overdrive. It features a fake drink called OverCharge Delerium XT and features the likenesses of various characters in the game as well as a couple of locations.

The site showcases various locations for the drink’s launch party, the first of which is Los Angeles, which takes place on June 9, the day before E3. Other cities include San Diego, Cologne, and Seattle, possibly for SDCC, Gamescom and PAX Prime.

The launch of the new site follows hints last week that we would be hearing a lot more about the game. While the site doesn’t exactly deliver on that promise, it’s certainly a start.

More than just a multiplayer-oriented shooter, Sunset Overdrive will have a dedicated single player campaign and story with an emphasis on agile combat—parkour is said to be a big part of the game, with heavy use of wall running, zip lines and acrobatics.
