Another World 20th Anniversary Edition for Consoles Leaked

April 23, 2014 by Yesika Reyes

The popular 1991 cinematic platformer will now be available for consoles soon.

One NeoGAF user uncovered that the 1991 cinematic platformer Another World will be re-released for consoles as Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition at an unspecified date.

Based on the listing, the game will be out on Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One. Interestingly, Xbox 360 is absent from this list. The game was previously remastered for iOS and Android a few years ago. Consequently, it was also released on PC and Mac last year. People can expect Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition to have a couple of new additions like additional difficulty modes, remastered audio and visuals, and a behind the scenes video.

Eurogamer asked the game's publisher about this, but they merely replied with: "We do not comment on rumours. Especially since everybody is now fully aware."

Another World is considered by many to be highly innovative for its cinematic effects and influential during the time of its release. Consequently, it was a critical and commercial success.
