People who attended Sledgehammer Games panel titled "Quest for Quality: Maximizing the Relationship Between Creative and Production" during this year's Game Development Conference got to see the first image of their upcoming Call of Duty game.
The developers claim that the image shows actual in-game characters. However, we only clearly see one character in the screenshot. It is worth noting that the next Call of Duty game will be "next-gen" first.
Sledgehammer Games have co-developed Modern Warfare 3 in the past, and this year's Call of Duty game will mark the beginning of their helm taking over the franchise for this generation. Other than that, not much is known about the title except for a job posting that suggests the addition of a weather system and vehicle features in the game. Check out the image below:
The game is expected to be released this fall and it is reportedly prioritizing PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
