Looks like the roster of playable characters for Mario Kart 8 has been leaked. We’ll go straight to the image for you below (original image here).
So, from what I can see at a glance, there are going to be 30 characters overall, with 3 ‘?’ slots. This is everyone we can see in the image:

· Waluigi
· Lemmy
· Roy
· Iggy
· Larry
· Wendy
· Ludwig
· Morton Jr
Candidates for racers that we have seen in prior console Mario Karts, but haven't been confirmed yet include Birdo, Bowser Jr, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Dry Bones, Dry Bowser, Fire Mario, Funky Kong, Honey Queen, Ice Luigi, King Boo, Koopa, Paratroopa, Petey Piranha, R.O.B, and of course, your Mii. While I doubt people are pulling for most of these characters to make it, there are a few really popular ones here, particularly your Mii. Who would you want to make it?
