Sometimes, it pays to have a dynamic personality in the world of MMA. When it comes to the Diaz brothers, their mean-mugging, profanity-littered ways have help push them from just being exciting fighters all the way to superstar status, so UFC fans should be thrilled to see that Nate Diaz has just been added to EA Sports UFC.
The 155-pound fighter never stops pressing the action and if he doesn’t like the way you’re fighting, expect a pair of middle fingers to fly up into the air. He’s dynamic, brash, and full of surprises, and all of those things make him and his brother a duo that’s difficult to ignore.
Diaz isn’t alone in this week’s update, though. Dominick Cruz, Ronaldo Souza, and Josh Thompson are also included in the group of screens, and each is important to his respective division in unique ways. Cruz, for example, hasn’t lost to a bantamweight in years, but this former champion was recently stripped of the belt thanks to a string of painful injuries. Hopefully, we’ll see him in action before the year is up.
Souza and Thompson are both top contenders in their divisions, and as long as they continue their winning ways, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see either man fighting for the belt before the year is up. This is one of the most talent-rich updates to the EA Sports UFC roster to date, but you can expect more additions before the PS4 and Xbox One game launches sometime this spring.
